Correction on university’s enrollment numbers story

The Knight published incorrect information regarding 2012 enrollment numbers in its issue released on Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Gannon admitted 675 freshmen  in 2011 and 617 freshmen in 2012. The number of overall undergraduate and graduate students enrolled for the 2012 year is 3,008 and 1,000, respectively.

Presidential debates to be screened in the Yehl Ballroom

The Student Government Association and professor David Kozak’s 2012 Elections class have collaborated to televise the Presidential debates in the  Yehl Ballroom from 8:30-10:30 p.m. on Oct. 3, 16 and 22.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided. A respectful discussion facilitated by Kozak will follow the debates.

 

LoDolce to speak about college relationships Wednesday

The Activities Programming Board (APB) is bringing in guest speaker Adam LoDolce to talk about forming and keeping college relationships at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Room 104 of the Zurn Science Center.

 

Counseling services reach out to international students

Gannon University’s counseling’s services is providing international students a chance to talk about what it feels like being away from home from 10 a.m. to noon Friday. at the International Student Office in the Zurn Science Center.

 

Registration open for third annual Pump-Kin-Run

Registration for this year’s Pump-Kin-Run is now open for students.

Runners who register before Oct. 12 pay $20 and receive a long-sleeved event shirt. Registration after that date costs $25. Proceeds benefit The Hero Program.

The race will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.

Spring and summer trips to London and Europe

The Rev. Shawn Clerkin and Douglas King, Ph.D. will lead a trip to London during Spring Break.

In addition to that trip, students can also sign up for a summer trip to Switzerland, Italy and France from May 15-24.

For both of these trips, university credit is available.
