Meditation sessions take place Mondays, open to all students

Student Counseling Services is hosting an open meditation session in its offices in Harborview  from 2 to 4 p.m. every Monday.

Students and faculty can attend the session and participate in solo and/or guided meditation to relax.

APB screens ‘Brave’ Friday

The Activities Programming Board is screening the animated movie “Brave’ at 9:15 p.m. Friday, 2:15 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday in Room 104 of the Zurn Science Center. Entrance is free with a student I.D.

 

Hispanic Heritage Day

Erie is celebrating the contributions of Hispanic Americans in the U.S. and Erie County on Saturday.

The parade begins at noon starting at 10th and State streets and moves north to Perry Square West.

A rousing fiesta will be held from 1-5 p.m. in the Perry Square West Gazebo where people can enjoy music, dancing and latin food.

 

Kozak to present his ‘Road to the White House’ lecture

David Kozak, Ph.D., and his 2012 elections class will present an overview of the governing challenges facing the next presidency on Wednesday.

The lecture is part of the Alumni Lunchtime Lecture Series, which is open to the public at no cost.
