Roommate switch period
The time to switch rooms is from Wednesday to Friday, Sept. 14-16. Go to Student Living to apply for a new room in that time period.
Kids’ Cafe
Gannon students go every Friday from 2:30 to 5 p.m. during the school year to help serve a hot meal and provide enrichment activities for an after-school program. Call 814-871-5602 for more information.
One World Green Cafe Grand opening
The cafe has its official opening Thursday, and events are scheduled throughout the day to celebrate the new haunt.
A prayer and ribbon cutting will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. The launch of Arts Challenge 2011 will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. And students will perform live music from 5 to 9 p.m.
Tibetan monks to come to Gannon next week
Six monks from the Gaden Shartse Monastery will be staying at Gannon from Sept. 19-22.
