Sports and exercise science program to host lecture

Dale Boring, founder and director of GET FAST Camps, will deliver a lecture 8 p.m. Wednesday in Room 104 of the Zurn Science Center. The lecture is designed to help area coaches and athletes gain an edge over the competition.

During the lecture, Boring will present sport-specific training designed to improve speed, agility and strength. He also will share strategies and techniques used during his camps.

The donation is $5 per person. All proceeds will benefit the Hero Program, which provides financial, educational and emotional support to terminally ill children and their families.
