Gannon Knight editorial board applications available
Applications are available for students interested in serving on the Editorial Board of The Gannon Knight for the 2019-2020 school year.
The form can be obtained by emailing Harlee Boehm, current editor-in-chief, at [email protected] or Knight adviser Frank Garland at [email protected]
Applications are due Friday, April 12, and can be submitted to Garland by email or in Room 319 of the Center for Communication and the Arts.
Positions for editors and assistant editors are available for the news, sports, features and arts and leisure sections.
The Knight is also looking for copy editors, a photo coordinator, a Roundtable editor, a social media editor and a business and advertising manager. Scholarship funding is awarded for select positions.

Knights Around Town with Gannon Alumni Association
Join Gannon’s Alumni Association for Knights Around Town from 5-7 p.m. April 4.
This alumni and student networking event will be held at Swan Tavern in The Schoolhouse, located in Fairview.
Appetizers will be provided by the Alumni Association.

Freedom Series continues April 4 on campus
Katy Bass will discuss how the meaning of free speech in the U.S. has been shaped over time by activists, courts and popular opinion from 7-8 p.m. April 4 in the Yehl Ballroom of the Waldron Campus Center.
She will also discuss how the principles underlying free speech can be employed in the continuing struggle for a more just society.
This event is part of the CHESS Freedom series and is co-sponsored by the School of Public Service and Global Affairs. The event is also free and open to the public.
