Women’s swimming and diving (1-2): Silvija Taraska will compete in the 50-, 100- and 200-yard freestyle at the NCAA Division II championships Wednesday-Saturday.

Women’s volleyball (6-0): The Knights defeated D’Youville 3-0 Sunday to remain undefeated. Maddie Blake led the team with five kills. Gannon will take on Mercyhurst for two games Saturday.

Men’s soccer (1-1): Gannon faced Point Park Friday, winning 7-1. Sergio Del Castillo had a hat trick for the Knights. Next up for the Knights is Roberts Wesleyan Saturday.

Women’s soccer (0-0): Coming off an exhibition match against Tiffin, Gannon will face Roberts Wesleyan Sunday.

Men’s cross country: Gannon finished in first place Saturday at the Gannon Invitational. The Knights posted the top three times, with Caleb Mandel finishing first. The Knights’ next competition will be at the PSAC championships Saturday.

Women’s cross country: The Knights took first place at the Gannon Invitational, dominating the race with the top six finishers. Emma Steele came in first with Meredith Morse and Alena Wisniewski rounding out the top three. The PSAC championships are next for Gannon, taking place at Lock Haven Saturday.

Acrobatics and tumbling (1-0): No. 5 Gannon opened its season with a win over Frostburg State, 247.665-148.550 on March 6. Its next competition will be March 24 against West Liberty.

Baseball (2-2): Gannon dropped its only game this week to Chestnut Hill 15-6. Tyler Mattocks hit his first career home run in the loss. The Knights will face Davenport Saturday and Sunday.

Softball (3-5): Gannon played in eight games this week, going 0-2 versus Cal U, 2-2 versus Mercyhurst and 0-2 versus Notre Dame (Ohio). Its next game will be versus Edinboro Thursday.

Women’s water polo (0-3): Gannon began its season over the weekend, dropping three games. All the games were close, with scores of 13-8, 16-15 and 12-10. The Knights look to bounce back Saturday at the Salem Invitational.

Women’s lacrosse (0-2): The Knights had a tough draw to start their season, falling 17-3 to No. 22 Mercyhurst Thursday and 20-4 to No. 23 Roberts Wesleyan Sunday. Their next action will be Wednesday versus Lock Haven.

Men’s golf: Gannon edged out Sandhills Community College for a win in its first action of the spring at the Browngolf Intercollegiate Golf Tournament. Abe Holmes led the Knights with a score of 142 for a first-place finish. Gannon’s next action will be April 5-6.

Women’s golf: In its first action of the spring, Gannon finished second at the Browngolf event Friday and Saturday. Maria Arenas placed first individually with a score of 160. The Knights will hit the course again April 5-6.
