Editor-in-chief application available

Applications are available for the position of editor-in-chief of The Gannon Knight for the 2022-23 academic year.

The form can be obtained by sending an email to current Knight Editor-in-Chief Maddy Bruce at [email protected] or Knight adviser Frank Garland at [email protected].

Completed applications should be submitted by email to Garland no later than 5 p.m. March 25. For information on the duties and responsibilities that come with the position, contact Garland via email.

 

Study skills workshop set

Commuter life is hosting a study skills workshop for all students at Gannon, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, in Palumbo 2201.

Amanda Washek from the Student Success Center will be leading the workshop, which will be focusing on learning and developing better and more useful studying and test taking skills.

 

Casting Call set for March 11

The Black Student Union, International Hispanic Association and the Queer Collective is having a Modeling Workshop at 10:45 a.m. Friday, March 11, in the Waldron Campus Center – Wright Room.

The organizations are looking for individuality and uniqueness of all genders, backgrounds and ages to partake in their showcase of the depth of identity, a fashion show, The Looking Glass, which will happen on April 15.

Multicultural Dance night

The Reinventing Right Now CHESS Speaker Series is hosting a cultural event at 6 p.m. Friday, March 11, at the Schuster Theatre.

This event will be celebrating the different cultures from around the world.

There will be dancers from many different disciplines coming together to showcase the universal connection through creativity.

IHA Patty’s Bingo

The International Hispanic Association will be hosting a bingo night at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 12, in Zurn 129.

Come together and learn what the IHA has to offer as a group while having game night at the same time.
