With spring break right around the corner, it is clear that students are slowly losing the urge to focus on anything academic.
Right before spring break, some professors give midterms.
It is important to start studying as soon as possible.
The urge to study may be gone, but it is crucial to remain strong till the very end.
For those who are having trouble focusing, consider starting a study group.
This way you won’t be alone and will have others looking out for you.
Seek advice from a professor or trusted adult.
They are here to help you during difficult times.
It is better to get a grip on the problem now than two weeks before finals week.
If school is truly stressing you out, consider taking a yoga class or hitting the gym.
This way you are knocking out stress and getting needed exercise.
If dates are getting mixed in your head, consider using a planner.
This way you can count down the days till break and keep track of all your assignments due between now and then.
For some, stress comes from finding somewhere to stay during the week of spring break.
Those who plan on staying on campus during spring break, be sure to apply for housing accommodations during that time.
Residence Halls will close at 5 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28, and re-open at 8 a.m., Sunday, March 8.
Applications are located on the MyHousing page on my.gannon.edu.
The deadline to submit applications is Monday. For questions, please contact [email protected].
