Gannon University women’s golf team concluded their regualr season after placing second out of five at its Spring Invitational held at Lake Shore Country Club in Erie, Pa. Sunday and Monday.
The Knights fell behind the University of California at Pennsylvania by a two-day combined score of 626 to Gannon’s 644.
Sophomore Manuela Quevedo earned her first title in her career as a Knight shooting 74.
Quevedo’s 74 tied her previous all-time low set at Mercyhurst’s Spring Invitational
Junior standout Diana Munoz placed fourth out of 29 golfers at the invitational while sophomore Nicole Filipski placed ninth.
