Gannon University students join in Christmas caroling as they walk down Sixth Street in December 1989. The group parades through campus in a ceremony similar to Light Up AJ’s Way and passes the Nash Library on its way around the block.

Bob Dobiesz, assistant director and archivist at Nash Library, said Ward McCracken, who retired last year after serving the university for 43 years, would lend his farm animals for the night to create a real-life nativity parade through the campus.
