Erie, PA. — Gannon University’s student-led Students for Life organization is excited to host an educational pro-life speaker event on Saturday, March 15, 2025. “Navigating the Pro-Life Issue in Today’s World” will take place in the Yehl Ballroom of Gannon’s Waldron Campus Center (628 Peach Street) from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM, with doors open to the public beginning at 10:00 AM. Advanced registrations are highly recommended since a free lunch will be provided.
In addition to the free lunch and light refreshments at the onset, attendees will hear from three speakers with decades of pro-life advocacy experience. The first keynote will be delivered by Pete DeMaio, the founder of Mission Love and Life and co-host of The Men for Life Podcast. DeMaio and fellow podcaster Andrew Jacoby will record an episode of their podcast live in the Deck (on the second floor of the Waldron Campus Center) at 2:00 PM. Attendees are invited to watch and participate in the half-hour recording of their podcast.
Christopher Bell, a pro-life activist and founder of Good Counsel Homes, will deliver the day’s second keynote addressing his own experience in the pro-life movement and helping pregnant women via Good Counsel Homes. The final keynote will feature Cameron Fradd, founder of the weekly podcast Among the Lilies which addresses the feminine genius. Fradd will be available to answer questions following her keynote talk. Most speakers will also be available during the day to answer questions and meet attendees between talks.
In addition to the keynote speakers and their respective foundations, several local pro-life organizations will be present with informational tables which can be browsed during the lunch hour. Among these organizations is the Women’s Care Center of Erie who will share a short testimonial about their services and local offerings before lunch. At least one other pro-life testimonial will be shared before the day concludes in the late afternoon.
