Gannon University Has New Basketball Coach

Erie, Pa., April 14, 2023, 2023 — On April 12, 2023, history was made for Gannon Athletics. Specifically, the Gannon men’s basketball team. Jordan Fee was hired as the new head coach. Fee came from Nova Southeastern, a small DII team located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In the past season, under the role of associate head coach. Fee led the Sharks to an unblemished 36-0 record and a DII national championship. In a small span of two years from 2018 to 2020 Fee was able to accomplish an NCAA South regional championship and a regular season conference championship for Nova Southeastern. Fee coached under 2 different head coaches for seven years before making the jump himself.

Through the years Jordan Fee has been undoubtedly, one of the best assistant coaches in college basketball with several accolades supporting this. In the 2018/2019 season, Fee was ranked No. 6 in the coachesstat.net top 25 DII/DIII coaches’ rank. Following it up next season receiving the Silver Waves media top 50 most impactful DII assistant coaches.

Along with this new hire, The Gannon basketball team is looking to make a significant leap in progress. The Golden Knights ended the 2022-2023 season with only three wins and 23 losses. Jordan Fee looks to bring a different standard to Gannon, hoping to improve the athletic and academic standard for the men’s basketball team.
