Within the last few weeks, Erie has received plenty of snow, which has given us a ton of options for activities for the winter season. Here is a list of fun things to do in Erie (or that are just a short drive away) during the next few months:

  • Visit Asbury Woods for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Through over five miles of trails, both activities will offer a great way to explore the outdoors during the winter months.
  • Hit the slopes at Peek’n Peak Resort located in Clymer, New York. You have the opportunity to ski or snowboard through its 26 trails and three terrain parks. No skill is required for snow tubing with 14 lanes, which is offered at Peek’n Peak Resort as well.
  • ERIEBANK Sports Park and Flo Fabrizio Ice Center both offer public ice skating. Both facilities have NHL-sized rinks and skate rentals available.
  • Lastly, don’t miss out on one of Erie’s greatest sledding hills located in Frontier Park. Bundle up, grab the sleds and head out to the big hills at the park.

The list is endless for the winter opportunities in Erie. Get the most out of this season with the ones you love the most.
