It is important to remember to take a break during finals week.

Final exams are just around the corner, as they begin on Monday. As students head into the busy week right before the fall semester concludes, here are tips to ease some of the stress you may encounter throughout the coming week.

  1. Allow yourself free time in between studying and completing assignments. It is okay to take a break and not feel guilty about it.
  2. Do not cram and wait until the last minute. Otherwise, you may end up feeling burnt out.
  3. Remember to treat yourself. After you turn in an assignment or complete an exam, reward yourself with something small because you deserve it.
  4. Get fresh air. Go on a walk around Perry Square and AJ’s Way to see at the Christmas lights. It will alleviate some built-up stress.
  5. It is important to get as much sleep as possible so you feel prepared for your exams the next day and it is okay to take naps throughout the day.

From The Gannon Knight Staff, we wish you all the best of luck on final exams and Happy Holidays, Knights. We will see you in January!
