Fall events take place around Erie

Chloe Palmiere, Roundtable Editor

There are a lot of different fall activities that are going on in and around Erie, and since Halloween is next weekend, you will want to get your fall-activity fix in. Here is a list of different things that are all within a reasonable driving distance.
One of the most popular fall attractions in our area comes from Port Farms, which is located about 25 minutes away in Waterford. Port Farms has a wide variety of activities including a corn maze, live music, hayrides, pumpkin canyons and much more. It also has a 21+ area for people who want to try different fall flavored drinks.
Next up is one that is only five minutes away from campus and that would be Eeriebyss Factory of Terror, which is located on 12th Street. This is a less family-friendly environment; it is inside the abandoned Griswold Manufacturing Co. It has four stories and is over a half-mile long.
13 Levels of Fear is located at Conneaut Lake Park, which is about 45 minutes away from campus. The park claims that this is the “largest, longest, and scariest haunted attraction in the world.” Just like the title, there are 13 different levels that are included at this ghost lake.
Zoo Boo at the Erie Zoo, which is only 10 minutes away from campus, has a wide variety of fun for any age. The zoo has fall-themed activities and food trucks, and this year it is allowing people of all ages to trick or treat. You just have to pay a small fee.
Lastly, if you are looking for something that is less spooky and Halloween-related, Burch Farms has apple picking, and every apple drink and food you can think of, and it is only around 25 minutes away.
There are so many more different fall festivities going on, so support your local businesses.
