Women’s swimming and diving: Silvija Taraska finished with three top-24 times in the 50,100 and 200-yard freestyle at the NCAA national championships.
Women’s volleyball (10-0): The 10th-ranked Knights stayed unbeaten Saturday with two 3-0 sweeps against Clarion. Gannon was coming off two victories versus Mercyhurst on March 20. Gannon will face Slippery Rock Wednesday.
Men’s soccer (3-2): Gannon lost 2-1 Saturday against Mercyhurst. The Knights had posted two 2-1 wins against Roberts Wesleyan and Daemen March 20-21. They’ll face the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in an exhibition Thursday.
Women’s soccer (1-1): Gannon dropped a game to Roberts Wesleyan on March 21 and earned its first win of the season versus Slippery Rock, 3-2, Wednesday. Its next game will be April 8 in an against Penn State Behrend.
Men’s cross country: Gannon finished fifth out of 12 teams at the PSAC championships March 20.
Women’s cross country: The Knights placed fourth out of 15 teams at the PSAC championships March 20.
Acrobatics and tumbling (3-0): No. 5 Gannon took down West Liberty Wednesday by a score of 268.540-248.035 and followed that with a 269.690-237.080 victory versus Adrian Sunday. The Knights will face Limestone Saturday.
Baseball (4-6): Gannon has gone 2-4 in its last six games, dropping two to Davenport March 20-21 then splitting four games with Mercyhurst over the weekend. Gannon will face Slippery Rock in four games Friday and Saturday.
Softball (6-8): The Knights took two games from Edinboro Wednesday and followed that by splitting two games versus Lake Erie Friday. The team will play two games versus Slippery Rock Friday.
Women’s water polo (2-7): The Knights went 1-3 at the Salem Invitational March 20-21 and followed that with a 1-1 record at the Penn State Behrend Tournament Saturday and Sunday. Their next action will Friday versus Bucknell.
Women’s lacrosse (0-3): Gannon’s last action was against Lock Haven on March 17, when the Knights lost 19-6. Gannon’s next game will be Wednesday versus Slippery Rock.
Men’s golf: Coming off a first-place finish at the Browngolf Tournament, Gannon will compete at the Dr. Edwin Cottrell Invitational starting Monday.
Women’s golf: After a second-place finish at the Browngolf event March 12-13, the Knights will hit the course again Monday and Tuesday at the NC4K Classic.
Competitive cheer and dance: Both teams competed in the Alma Showcase March 21 and the Road to Daytona Showcase March 28. All events were uncontested, and the teams will head to Daytona Beach April 8-10 for the NCA/NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship.
