Staff members Erik Konwinski and Amanda Drew were recently announced as national finalists in the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System’s 2021 Len Maillous Student Management Awards.
Drew is the music director at WERG and curates music selections based on local and national music trends, analyzing industry sales, playlist charts and surveys conducted on campus. She also hosts the “Tuesday Top 30” show which, airs Tuesdays at 6 p.m.
Konwinski is the sports director and directs, produces and hosts “Prime Time Sports Guys,” a weekly three-hour sports-talk radio program that airs Thursdays at 6 p.m.
The 81st Annual IBS Conference will take place next month.
