‘Speaking to Suicide’ to discuss mental health
Speaking to Suicide will be holding a speaker panel from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday both in-person and online.
If you wish to attend in-person, you are asked to RSVP through EngageU as only 20 spots will be offered.
You can also register to attend the event via Zoom, with a link being sent out prior to the event.

GIVE Day is approaching 
Gannon’s annual GIVE Day will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 19.
Student group leaders will receive their full informational emails next week.
Faculty and staff will receive their site emails this week.

Annual flu clinic provides a chance to stay healthy
Gannon’s annual flu clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, at the Field House at the Recreation and Wellness Center with participants entering through the field house doors.
The clinic is open to all Gannon students, faculty and staff who wish to receive a shot.
Those interested in attending will need to complete an online form, practice social distancing and pre-verify your insurance.
More details will be announced in the coming weeks.

Gannon SBDC receives grant for small businesses

Gannon’s Small Business Development Center received a $300,000 COVID-19 county relief grant from Erie County.
This will help the Gannon SBDC help and improve many unique businesses during the pandemic.
The main goal of the grant is to help these small businesses implement and develop digital transformation strategies.
