Well, well, well — last issue before break. We’ve had a lot of fun so far.
We gave you the best of Gannon sports and the worst: the wins, the losses, upsets, heartbreaks and the buzzer beaters.
Gannon sports have been very successful this semester and we will be hoping they continue that success after break.
Baseball and softball season are just around the corner, and a number of spring sports are already in action, keeping hundreds of intercollegiate student-athletes busy.
Yet, if you are like me and not a student-athlete and still want to do sports. I have some good news for you!
Intramural sports!
Yes, indeed — intramural sports gives you a chance to be competitive and go for glory, yet without the stress of being a student-athlete.
Be a part of a team once again or for the first time, get together a group of your buds or find a squad of complete strangers and dominate the competition.
Intramural sports are just a great way to meet people and a fun way to stay in shape because we all know summer is knocking on the door. That’s why our Gannon Rec and Wellness Center gives us this opportunity.
The sports to sign for this back half of the semester are table tennis, volleyball and 5 v 5 basketball.
Registrations are online on mygannon.com and the IMLEAGUES app.
By the way, Monday night was the first ever Spike Ball tournament so make sure you ask your classmates who partake in it how it went.
Anyway, break begins next week; midterms are almost over and honestly I cannot wait to do nothing.
As always, have a good week
And GO KNIGHTS!
