The Gannon community is invited to the 16th Annual Wellness Fair from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Recreation and Wellness Center.
Breakfast will be served from 7-10 a.m.
The Rev. Michael Kesicki will begin the opening prayer at 8 a.m.
From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. will be a collection of events titled BUZZ by at Work.
There will be seven Zones of Wellness consisting of interactive activities and over 40 vendors.
Guests can tailgate in the Social Wellness Zone, where there will be free food, fellowship and fun.
From 9 a.m. to noon, another morning prayer will be held by Sister Carmen.
This will also include mindful eating with Kathleen Elwood and introductory experience in Christian meditation with The Rev. George Strohmeyer.
From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and again at 5:30 p.m., a few cooking demonstrations, including egg white breakfast pizza and roasted cauliflower salad, will be staged.
Throughout the day there will be live performances by Casino Tuesday, Mambo Jazz and Dhanya Jose.
From 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. is BEE Present at Happy Hour and Family Dinner.
This event is open to all including employees, their families, students,and members of our community
There will still be seven zones of wellness consisting of interactive activities and over 40 vendors.
The evening will end with a tobacco-free flash mob, GU pep band and a closing prayer from Kesicki.
Employees have two hours of approved time to explore the Wellness Fair.
A shuttle service will be provided to and from the RWC by the Knight Watch.
