Gannon’s award winning literary and arts annual publication, Totem, is currently seeking submissions for its 2019-2020 publication.
Accepted submissions include any type of written or artistic work. This can include poems, short stories, plays, paintings, photography, sketches, and anything in-between. Almost everything will be accepted for judging.
Submitted artwork also has the chance to be featured on the cover, being incorporated in some part of the design.
Submissions will then be anonymously judged by a hand selected panel.
Selected submissions will then be published in Totem, which will be released in April during the Gannon Writing Awards celebration.
Gannon students from all disciplines and colleges are invited to submit, as well as all Gannon faculty and alumni.
The deadline for all artwork is Friday, and written work is due Dec. 4.
To submit, email your artwork or written pieces to [email protected] or bring your art to the third-floor secretary’s office in the Palumbo Academic Center.
All submissions must include a title and should include your name, year and major in the email.
Though the deadlines are still days and weeks away, submissions are already being sent in.
You don’t need to wait until the last minute to submit.
Totem has been in publication for over 30 years and has won awards for many of those years.
Students are encouraged to be a part of another great Totem magazine publication.
If you have any questions, please email Alexa Rogers at [email protected].
