On Sept. 24 the Erie Art Museum is holding a film festival for local high school students to participate in.
The museum is reaching out to the Gannon community to ask for volunteers to mentor the participants as they create a documentary-style film.
Students’ films will revolve around the idea of violence in the Erie community.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 24th.
Other events coming up at the Erie Art Museum include a free open gallery night to enjoy the city of Erie’s vibrant art on Friday, Sept. 23.
Any students interested in more information can contact Brianna Lyle at [email protected] .
The gallery will include exhibitions, entertainment and refreshments from 7 to 10 p.m.
