The Gannon women’s soccer team entered the initial National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) Divison II Top 25 Poll released Tuesday, coming in at No. 19.
Gannon sits at No. 3 in the NSCAA Atlantic region rankings.
Rollins (Fla.) is the nation’s top-ranked team with a 2-0 record. St. Rose (N.Y.) (2-0), Columbus State (Ga.) (2-0), Minnesota State-Mankato (2-0) and West Chester (2-0) completed the top five.
West Chester (2-0) sits at No. 1 in the Atlantic region poll, while Edinboro (2-0), Gannon (2-0), Shippensburg (1-0-1) and California (Pa.) (1-0-1) round out the top five.
Coach Colin Peterson’s club makes it first top-25 appearance since 2014, when the Knights were ranked No. 21.
