Gannon Knight editorial board applications available
Applications are available for students interested in serving on the Editorial Board of The Gannon Knight for the 2019-2020 school year.
The form can be obtained by emailing Harlee Boehm, current editor-in-chief, at Boehm003@knights.gannon.edu or Knight adviser Frank Garland at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applications are due Friday, April 12, and can be submitted to Garland by email or in Room 319 of the Center for Communication and the Arts.
Positions for editors and assistant editors are available for the news, sports, features and arts and leisure sections.
The Knight is also looking for copy editors, a photo coordinator, a Roundtable editor, a social media editor and a business and advertising manager. Scholarship funding is awarded for select positions.

Freedom Series continues April 4 on campus
Katy Bass will discuss how the meaning of free speech in the U.S. has been shaped over time by activists, courts and popular opinion from 7-8 p.m. April 4 in the Yehl Ballroom of the Waldron Campus Center.
She will also discuss how the principles underlying free speech can be employed in the continuing struggle for a more just society.
This event is part of the CHESS Freedom series and is co-sponsored by the School of Public Service and Global Affairs. The event is also free and open to the public.
Women’s Studies program to host Bingo night
The Women’s Studies program will be hosting a Bingo night at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, in the open space on the third floor of the Palumbo Academic Center.
Any donations of prizes for bingo will be appreciated. Donations can be dropped off to Room 3215 in Palumbo.
Proceeds go to SafeNet and snacks will be provided.
