Vouchers available for
To all CHESS students, there are free ticket vouchers available for the Erie Philharmonic 2018-19 Season Symphonic concerts.
The first symphonic concert will be Saturday. Others are set for Nov. 3, Jan. 26, March 9 and April 13.
Stop by the CHESS Dean’s office, Room 2024 in the Palumbo Academic Center, to pick up your voucher.
Each voucher is valid for two tickets. Vouchers must be redeemed at the Erie Philharmonic box office prior to the performance.
Senior Salute to be held for December 2018 graduates
Gannon is hosting Senior Salute for December graduates to attend from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, in the Yehl Ballroom.
This will give graduates the opportunity to finalize all graduation details in one place.
Senior photos can be taken, caps and gowns can be picked up, graduation announcements and class rings can be ordered at this time.
There will be prize drawings, food and refreshments available throughout the day.
Gannon appointment of
controller effective Sept. 26
Gannon University welcomed David Niemira, CPA, as Controller effective Sept. 26.
Niemira will be responsible for the financial systems and accounting functions managing day-to-day financial operations and preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial data.
He is a Certified Public Accountant, and earned a B.S. in Business Administration, Forensic Accounting and Financial Services at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
Freedom Series speaker
to talk about civil rights
Diane Nash will be speaking at 7 p.m., Wednesday in the Yehl Ballroom.
It is the next event in the CHESS Freedom Series.
Nash was instrumental in the 1960 Nashville sit-in movement that helped spark the larger student protest movement in the 1960s.
