Two players compete for a rebound in the annual Faculty-Administration basketball game in the Hammermill Center on Feb. 14, 1984. In an issue of The Gannon Knight the week prior to the matchup, David Frew, a professor of management and spokesman for the faculty team, jokingly predicted that the administration would not play fair and would try to buy off the referees. While Frew was still confident that the faculty would be victorious by “at least 50 or 60 points,” the game ended in a tie, 28-28.
